Glass stringers Lavender opal (R-083), 1mm, COE96
The stringers are manually pulled out of Reichenbach glass. Their thickness is 1mm in average. Actual thickness varies from 0.8 to 1.2 mm. There are two lengths available: 17 inches (43 cm) and 12.5 inches (32 cm). The stringers are packed in the plastic tube. The weight of 17 inch stringers is approximately 5 oz. The weight of 12.5-inch stringers is 4 oz. Actual quantity depends on the thickness. I pull the stringers out of Reichenbach glass frit. Unfortunately frit color varies and depends on the batch, so the color of stringers varies a bit. The color changes a bit after full fusing. The second picture shows stringers fully fused to the clear substrate (back side). I compared this color to the closest Oceanside stringers - Dark Blue Opal (S-2306-f), Medium Blue Opal (S-2302-f) and Peacock opal (S-2234). I also compared it with another Reichenbach color R-091.
