This original bowl looks like a piece of roll of oriental fabric. The colorful pattern imitates Ikat - a technique of fabric painting. The colorful diamonds intentionally have curved irregular edges. Five colors used in the bowl - red, orange, teal, blue-gray and gray - are separated by Ivory thin stripes imitating non-painted fabric.
The top part of the bowl is a square curved in one direction only and looks like a wide flipped arch. The leg of the bowl has a similar colorful pattern and the shape - the arch which steadily stands on the table surface.
The edges of the plate are ground and polished. The bowl is food safe, but hand wash only.
