Just recall last minutes of the summer day. The Sun is already down but the sky is still highlighted with this special orange red color. All the clouds are visible as black and dark gray. And even birds in the sky are visible as black. The day is almost over, the night is coming, there are almost no sounds...
The plate is an illustration of this picture. I used a special art glass and fused it with a substrate in a kiln at 1500F. To draw the birds I used a special glass enamel which is fused with glass. This plate is one of a kind. The edges are straightened but I preserved their organic rounded shape.
The plate is food safe, but it's not recommended to use a dishwasher or microwave.
