In this plate I used a "woven ribbons" technique of glass fusing. The diamond in the center looks like a combination of blue and purple striped ribbons. The body of the plate is a mix of blue and plum colors. If you place the plate in front of a light source, you see bright plum and blue colors. If you put it on a dark table, plum color dims, and blue remains unchanged. The edges are ground and polished.
This is a decorative plate, but it can be used for fruits, salads, cookies. The plate is food safe, but we do not recommend using a microwave and dishwasher due to the nature of the fused glass.
