In this plate I used a "woven ribbons" technique of glass fusing. When you look at it you clearly see that horizontal ribbons are woven with vertical ribbons. Each ribbon is a combination of colorful stripes. In this plate I used fall colors: Red, Orange, Yellow and a bit of Green as a reminder about last days of the year. There is also a bit of black stripes as a reminder about Halloween. The colors gradually transition from red in one corner to yellow and green in the opposite corner. The edges are ground and polished.
This is a decorative plate, but it can be used for fruits, salads, cookies. The plate is food safe, but we do not recommend using a microwave and dishwasher due to the nature of the fused glass.
