Soap dish Teal Labyrinth
Add a splash of color to the bathroom or kitchen counter with this elegant soap dish. Two green-blue squares in the center have teal borders along the sides. The plate is very bright and attractive. You may use it as a small plate for jewelry, keys, or dessert.
It is small, but 2 full days are required to make it. First a design needs to be created; this work is invisible because it looks like artists do nothing. Meanwhile they think about glass colors, their combinations and compatibility, decorative elements. Then, they cut glass pieces and arrange them in a composition. After that the work goes to the kiln for the first time where it stays for about 17 hours. Maximum temperature used for fusing is about 1450F. After complete cooling artists put the work on a mold and place into the kiln for the second time - now for slumping (making a shape). And only after 17 more hours in the kiln the work is ready
This soap dish measures approximately 6" x 4" .
