A decorative wall panel Oriental Rug
If you have ever been in oriental market, you keep in memory a view of bright colors and various patterns of oriental rugs. So, it will be easy for you to refresh these memories while looking at this glass artwork. It looks like a bright handmade oriental rug with fringe along its sides. This "rug" is "flying" inside display box with black background. Black color makes colors in the artwork brighter and less dependent on the surrounding wall color. The colorful pattern is a result of an intricate arrangement of hundreds of tiny colorful glass strips. The edges are ground and polished. If you wish you may detach the glass panel from the display box and hang it right on a wall using acrylic hangers on a back side of the artwork, but that may reduce attractiveness of the panel.
