If you look at the plate from one side you can see a large eagle carrying a trophy in his hands. This is a result of properly chosen color combinations.
This plate was done using the original glass fusing technique 3D Chevron. Chevrons are combined from 2 non-matching sides. As a result of optical illusion chevrons look as 3D. Also that generates new color combinations which are enhanced by a combination of transparent and opaque colors.
Edges of this plate are professionally cold worked and look straight and shiny.
