This artwork is made by fusing together hundreds of murrini - small cylinders with complex internal structure. They are arranged in a special order, so you see color gradients and clear boundaries between yellow "star" in the center and the surrounding green and blue space. The surface is glance and it's very hard to show it in the picture.
This piece of art looks best in a bright sunny room when it demonstrates all color gradients and "chills" the room.
The mount is made of steel and has a "Gold Champaign" color which matches the central yellow star. Only 1 screw is needed to mount it on a wall.
This glass object's dimensions are 12 x 12 inches. When assembled with a mount- 17 x 17 inches. A distance between the object and a wall is ~1.25".
