A wall clock "Checkpoint"
This clock may decorate any room in your house. This design is one of a kind and is a combination of 2 different techniques of glass fusing.
To make this clock I fired it in the kiln 3 times: initially I heated it to 1600F and "raked" its surface with a still hook, then I added blue and green triangles and fused them with the base. After trimming of the edges, I added colorful pebbles and fused them to the surface. And only after that I made a hole in the center and mount clock movement.
You may choose either standard movement, or silent. Hands in the silent movement constantly sweeping, so you hear no ticking.
Diameter: appr. 14.5 inches. A strong hanger at the back side allows hanging easily and securely.
This clock is battery powered and is very precise. Almost no maintenance required: simply change time in Spring and Fall to follow DST. Battery usually lasts 1.5-2 years depending on brand.
