A Square Plate "Fire in the Ocean"
This square plate contains components which were created using different techniques. An orange strip with milk-white center is made using the "crackles" technique. Orange and white colors are not solid; there are internal cracks which create an illusion of the lava strip which appears in the water during volcano eruption. An intricate orange curve is a result of pulling glass from a vitrigraph. It looks like thin crack with hot lava inside.
That is my vision of this plate. You may, of course, see something totally different.
Dimensions 10 x 10 inches (25 x 25 cm). Edges are professionally coldworked and imitate natural fused glass edge.
This plate is food safe but we do not recommend to use a dishwasher.
