This plate is a combination of perfectly glance black surface and two motley stripes. Each stripe contains dozens tiny shapes of various size and color which are very similar to the ones you can see in kaleidoscopes. This combination of the classical black order and colorful irregularity adds a very special charm and beauty to the plate.
The two stripes is a set of slices of a special pattern bar - a glass bar made of molten and fused glass canes. This bar was sliced into thin strips which were aligned to each other and fused with a sheet glass. The pattern is unique and cannot be reproduced under any circumstances.
The plate is food safe, but we do not recommend using a dishwasher.
