"From Scrap to Artworks with a Vitrigraph" - E-book, 9-th Edition
This book is a result of 4 years of my experiments with vitrigraph. Periodically I was updating it and sharing with you my secretes and discoveries.
When you buy this book, you get in fact two different books:
- The first one is a detailed guide for vitrigraph users. It describes from A to Z how to setup and use a vitrigraph, how to pull rods, cane, and stringers, how to utilize leftovers of other glass projects. A large chapter explains physics of glass pouring which is very important for managing cane colors and making murrine. There is a detailed description of three different methods of making murrine.
- The second “book” is useful for those fusers who want to use stringers, twisties, globs and pattern bars with murrine in their projects. There are detailed instructions for 11 projects which use such techniques of glass fusing as Chevrons and tartan “fabrics”, dropping and draping, using murrine and pattern bars, bubble trapping, tack fusing and slumping. All the projects described in this book do not require a vitrigraph. You may buy stringers, cane and murrine in glass stores or on-line. In addition, there are six inspirational projects which you will be able to do after reading the book.
There are 183 pages with more than 200 pictures and illustrations, tables and highlighted notes which draw your attention to important information. The book has page numbers, so you can print it for your convenience.
